Recovery Mondays is our regular drop in Monday evenings, from 6:30pm-8:30pm. This drop-in meditation evening is for people in recovery from any sort of addiction or compulsive behaviour (alcohol, food, drugs, shopping, TV, internet, gambling, etc.) . The sessions will be an opportunity to explore Buddhist meditation as a tool to help cultivate sobriety of mind. We start the evening with a period of meditation followed by a tea break. In the second half we will be performing the Sevenfold Puja. The Sevenfold Puja is the main devotional practice for the whole of the Triratna community worldwide. It’s a beautiful compilation of verses from various sources, notably the Bodhicaryavatara by Shantideva.
